This isisisisisis uh gggggreat viiideo.
Maybe I just don't have the right kind of headphones for this, but the software you can download had zero effect on me.
As someone who's played TF2 for years with voice_loopback turned on, I'm immune to speech jammers. :v:
Maybe I just don't have the right kind of headphones for this, but the software you can download had zero effect on me.
some people just aren't bothered by it. I remember on an episode of QI where Stephen Fry pulled one out and Adam Davies and one girl who isn't a regular panelist were unaffected.
All I could think of when I was watching this was "You muh-muh-muh-maaakke meeee, haaaaaaapppppyyyy"

I had no idea such a thing existed, whoa.
i tried the app and it did jack shit for me or my brother this guy must be super retarded
i tried the app and it did jack shit for me or my brother this guy must be super retarded
except for all the other videos on youtube of it working maybe you should try a different app!!
i tried two apps, the one he used and some other one. why would a different app that does the same thing work differently?? [editline]4th June 2013[/editline] i find it very easy to ignore the delayed feedback and focus on your lip movement and not get thrown off by hearing yourself delayed. you have to have pretty poor motor reflexes for this to work or something
i tried the app and it did jack shit for me or my brother this guy must be super retarded
like I said before, it doesn't bother some people. If intelligence has anything to do with it, congrats, you're as intelligent as alan davies
i didn't say intelligence though i said motor reflexes (or something)
lol hickok45 commented on the video
I love Hickcok45. He's from the area I'm originally from, though my accent isn't nearly as cool as his
forrest gump pistol review
Apparently this one works well https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id616122266?mt=8
i didn't say intelligence though i said motor reflexes (or something)
It's strange, I have very good motor reflexes yet it still works on me. Although, if I try very hard to make it not work, it doesn't. So perhaps you just have to try to speak normally.
Is there a version for normal computers? I don't have any fancy shmancy smartphone to try this with.

He sounds like Forrest Gump sometimes.
i was speaking normally, the delayed feedback didnt interfere with the word i knew i was up to
Then you are obviously a wizard.
This doesn't work with deaf people
It didn't work for me at first so I had to just not focus on my real voice that much; I mainly focused on my voice that I heard from the headphones. It kinda works, I guess.
I tried the Speech jammer PC version, worked like a charm for me and my friend, creepy as hell and hilarious at the same time.
All that time I've spent experiencing mic echo in games has paid off.
Here's another video demonstrating the speech jammer, makes anyone sound like an idiot
