Is your state voting on Medical/Recreational Marijuana this election? If you've seen any good political ads, post them here!

Already legal here in Colorado but can confirm the fears from these ads, downtown Denver is full of kids eating infused candy and driving under the influence. It's horrible!

Agreed, I've been terrified ever since I moved here. I'm seeing kids selling pot brownies at bake sales, strangers in white vans are offering kids pot suckers, soccer moms are getting run over left and right by people driving 5mph while high as shit.

Really a travesty, pot shouldn't be legalized at all. Now excuse me while I have some of this great chocolate.
Forget the presidents, get out and vote for this.
I sincerely believe the legalization of marijuana in Europe hinges more or less on how many states in America it's legalized in. There's going to be some vague tipping point somewhere, and the sooner we can end the war on drugs, the better...
Those videos were pretty hilarious, but disappointing since I expected them to be for instead of against.
Like 3 different cannabis stores surrounding "The Toy Box". Amazing.
Jesus, these ads almost look like parodies.

Well when the downsides are quite minimal in reality you kind of have to try to overblow them to make your shitty point, which turns them into a parody in a way.
newsflash single white mothers, your kids already smoke weed every night anyway
That first ad makes me want to vote yes and I don't even use drugs.

Personally I expect Denmark to legalize marijuana within maybe 10 years - I don't personally smoke, don't plan to and never will, but it just makes a lot of sense. Less waste of police resources, you constrict an income for the gangs, and you open up a new income source for the state either through granting licenses, VAT or selling directly (or all three).
The major parties in Denmark are still not convinced, but honestly I think it's just a question of them finding the acceptable time frame to come out in favour of it.
I'm still holding out hope that Trudeau delivers on his promise to introduce legislation in 2017 to legalize it here.
That doesn't mean it'll be legal immediately, there's likely to be a transition period, especially in terms of legalized selling for recreational purposes, but legislation being debated and passed with future-dated changes is better than no legislation. And it'll finally put Health Canada in its place after it's spent the last 16 years throwing tantrums every time the Supreme Court bitchslaps it for defying the 2000 ruling again.
