Here’s what we know we don’t know: 1) How well UKIP will do 2) Well there’s a lot we don’t know yet but number one is most important So how well might they do? A ComRes Poll for The Coalition for Marriage released on Tuesday night suggested that UKIP could win a staggering 22% of the vote. The same poll put the Conservatives on 31%, Labour on 24% and the Lib Dems on 12%.
I'd be interested in a full video. Sadly can't find one
seems like liberty is finally taking the forefront as politics has become more and more about fighting over whether left or right should control your life

IT'S HAPPENING, CHAPS
Ron Paul and Farage?!?! Oh god it's glorious!!!
Wasn't Ron Paul a Republican candidate that made sense? Not really clued up on that sort of thing, but I know he was ignored by just about every media outlet.
Wasn't Ron Paul a Republican candidate that made sense? Not really clued up on that sort of thing, but I know he was ignored by just about every media outlet.
Made sense if you saw "stop wars" and "legalize weed" and stopped reading any further.
This happened a while ago iirc Also I find it funny that Farage is pretty much the only libertarian in Ukip, the rest are just reactionary conservatives, old liberals and old Labour.
seems like liberty is finally taking the forefront as politics has become more and more about fighting over whether left or right should control your life
"Liberty for all! Unless you're gay and want to get married, or you're an immigrant, or you have lots of kids, or you don't have a job, or you want to smoke drugs"
you're talking about populists here
i remember when i was 17/18 and i thought i actually cared about politics. now it's just a case of looking at who is slightly less likely to fuck up economic policy because so little else will actually effect my life at all. even if a party has some insane agenda, chances are once they've managed to barely scrape their way into power, they won't be able to put any of their plans into action properly anyway
ALL OF MY FAVOURITE PRETEND LIBERTARIANS IN ONE PLACE
"Liberty for all! Unless you're gay and want to get married, or you're an immigrant, or you have lots of kids, or you don't have a job, or you want to smoke drugs"
To be fair, Ukip's rational against gay marrige was more based on infringing on the rights of churchs rather than any genuine discrinimation. [sp]not that I agree with that[/sp]
