Wow my mailman better fucking come on time
Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck, I just STARTED working :saddowns: Going to be a hard day.
I'm gonna go off on a tangent on my own feelings about the game: I'm practically in love with this game. It has a lot of charm to it and the second half of it just made it better. [sp]Even though I felt a few turning points of the game presented to be cliché, it was cute, because it reminded me of a Disney-Pixar movie, which I think suits this game perfectly.[/sp] [sp]The only thing I dislike/hate about the game is[/sp][sp]Cave Johnson's jokes. Generally unfunny and spat out, but maybe that's the point. Either way it didn't stop me from enjoying the game.[/sp] I await to have someone to play with in co-op. With a cast of memorable characters (GLaDOS <3), easy-listening music, clever puzzles, and a Pixar-like story (to me, at least), the singleplayer campaign only leaves me begging for more. Great redemption, Valve. Top 5 favorite game of all-time so far, by the way.
I think: too many load screens.
My PC was playing up, wouldnt start steam and the internet claimed I needed a certificate. I panicked so hard and it turned out my PC went Hal and changed the date to 21st december 3027

My mailman HAS to come tomorrow or I'll be mad.
i dont get this game till after easter FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
I'm loving the dynamic music. It reminds me of something like Bit. Trip. Basically when you're solving puzzles and so forth, if you fire a laser into the correct orifice in the wall, another layer of the soundtrack comes in, and it just builds and builds until you know you've solved the puzzle because the music sounds awesome.
Just got done playing for 5 hours straight, and I've still probably got another half-hour to an hour left. I haven't even touched the co-op yet, and then there's the developer's commentary after that. Best Valve game in years without a doubt.
GOTY 2011
Fuck it, I want this so bad now but I don't have the money to buy it, SHIT. TT
To me, this was the first major game of 2011. I just beat the single player, and I'm completely in love with this game. I really feel like Valve has outdone themselves entirely. This is a whole new level for them. There were also so many surprises and little hidden things in the game that constantly caught me off guard. Extremely entertaining, 11/10 in my book. It's really going to be tough for another game to dethrone this one for GOTY.
I absolutely loved every second of it. A couple of times it was a little frustrating when I didn't have a clue what to do, but these moments lasted less than a minute each time (apart from once, but that's besides the point). I loved the story, I loved the mechanics, I loved the voice acting and the characters, I loved the music, I loved everything about it. Probably one of my favourite games ever.
Wow, after the review the game sounds so good that it's still not in the illegal environment after hours of release. :v:
My collectors edition must come fast . My friend keeps telling the game is awful , and portal 1 is better . (Because of ruined design and shop) I hope he is not right

Already one of my all time favourites.

Fucking amazing game. Just completed it after 6 hours of play. The ending (big spoiler!) [sp]with the fucking moon AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME jesus the achievement's name lunacy pretty much describes it. at some point when cave johnson was talking about the moon I presumed lunacy was about, well, the moon.[/sp] and the music rocks
I think: too many load screens.
I think : loading is drastically faster than before
If you're waiting for the game, don't dwell on it. Just do something fun while the time passes.
Why people are hyped for a full priced puzzle game is beyond me.
Translated: Why people enjoy different genres of videogame and are hyped for the sequel to a fantastic game from a fantastic game developer is beyond me
Would you really be excited for this game if anybody other than Valve made it?
Would you really be excited for this game if anybody other than Valve made it?
Well, yeah, I have to say I would be excited for this game if anybody other than Valve made it. Although I don't quite see what that has to do with anything?
