Throughout the time I've been here at facepunch I've noticed one thing
Facepunch seems to be more of a dictatorship than a democracy.
Anyone who speaks out against the mods get banned, in fact, I can bet money this thread will get me banned. And now because I've said that, I'll probably get banned just because some mod thinks it's funny. What is this? Without mentioning any names, I think there are a few admins who quite frankly should not be admins!
I want to know what you guys, my fellow facepunchers, think about this.

It's neither, it's a despotism.
Democracy does NOT WORK online, or anywhere else for that matter, but this is more of an "absolute leadership" than a dictatorship.
Theres a reason democracy only stays in parliaments, it's horrible anywhere else.
Garry and Hezzy have main control of the forum, the mods regulate the forums to keep people from doing stupid shit. And they ask us what we think would be an improvement. It's a cooperative effort with figureheads who make shit happen.

Well to me it seems that garry doesn't do much at moderating, that's why he has Hezzy. My only problem is that Hezzy would be the last person I would pick to be a lead moderator. All I've seen him do is start pointless threads to ban people who post in them. Like those "POST IN HERE TO GET PERMAB-ANNED" threads. And he just hands out perma's like there's no tomorrow.

garry doen't moderate the forums, he owns them
Hezzy makes those threads because he has sense of humor, well some say that.

Well I wouldn't have much of a problem with them if he didn't just perma ban people for things that should be a, maybe 1 week ban
