Source in Estonian: http://www.postimees.ee/?id=393529 [release]Switzerland's Foreign Ministry gave an order today to freeze immediately dictator Muammar Gadaffi's properties. "The government realizes to completely destroy Libya's ruler human-opposition terror." said during Ministry's announcement according to AFP. "Looking at the latest developments, the Federal Council decided to instantly block all Muammar Gadaffi's possible properties and access to Switzerland."[/release]
I just read this on the news as well. Another source: http://blogs.wsj.com/corruption-currents/2011/02/24/swiss-order-freeze-of-gadhafi-assets/?mod=google_news_blog
Switzerland ordered an immediate freeze on any assets that may belong to defiant Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi and his entourage. The freeze, lasting for three years, gives financial institutions time to locate any deposits, as well as luxury goods and real estate tied to Gadhafi or his inner circle. “In order to pre-empt any misuse of state funds, the cabinet today decided to block all assets in Switzerland belonging to Moammar Gaddafi and his entourage with immediate effect,” a ministry statement said. Switzerland, the bank of the world.
Good. That'll teach him to come to Switzerland.
I'm pretty confident that pro-Democracy people will take Gadaffi down. According to Wiki, the demonstrators with the military seized the majority of Libya and the pro-Democracy Army is preparing for "Battle of Tripoli". I'm visualizing that situation as Russia's invasion on Washington in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
I read in the newspaper that it's very likely that if Gadaffi falls the 10 tribes that reside in Libya will start fighting each other again over power, since there's almost no real government left and a lot of weapons in the region. I sure hope that won't be the case.

Seems like they should've done this a long time ago when he, you know, declared jihad on them?
Yeah except that game was completely unrealistic and no aircraft would get beyond the east coast before getting shot down, but let's ignore that.
I always wondered how the Russians managed to get a fucking invasion force past Europe without anyone noticing. I would have figured The UK at least would have shot us a line saying "Afternoon chaps, Ivan seems to have sent a large invasion force in your direction, probably should have a look at that."

It was Yuri. Stop lying.

Yay my gouverment, for once :buddy:
One more week and Gaddafi's either going to loose or run. [editline]25th February 2011[/editline] Well, he's loosing either way.

For all intents and purposes we only mildly like you. You and your religion and your Sarah Palin.

Beautyful!
