the only reason it's late is because its from blizzcon 2009. I actually went and played starcraft 2 there..was a lot of fun. I also got into the beta...Can't wait to get this and Diablo 3.

This looks crazy, now if Diablo 3 will have an editor for 3rd person and a map editor for missions after doing everything you can in the Original game I will give Blizz many cookies.

I hate how they removed some classic units and merged them with others (medic + dropship = medivac, for example).

In the video they mention that the Starcraft modding community found ways to do things that Blizzard never intended or even thought of. So now they are thinking about anything they possibly can and giving the users as much freedom as they can to not only make their own custom maps, but essentially their own games. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Super Mario clone in the first few months after Starcraft 2s release.

I think I might even set up a group on steam so that once the galaxy editor is released (they're aiming for this month) we can all get together and immediately start working on some kickass maps. What do you guys say?
