The man and woman are suspected of possessing class A drugs. Two bags of cocaine were recovered by police after children found them in their trick-or-treat bags. It is understood the drugs were bought for personal use and ended up in with the bags of sweets by accident.
"by accident."
if you bought coke youre not gonna accidentally hand it out to children
Seems about right for Oldham
I used to live here, and I can confirm it sounds just about normal for Royton

The man told the woman "Line'em up" meaning the kids at their door who were trick or treating. Unfortunately, she misunderstood.
sounds like my kind of halloween
One hell of a treat.
Halloween is dying out in my town anyway, I went out with my friends for a laugh and there were absolutely no one giving out sweets...
Halloween is dying out in my town anyway, I went out with my friends for a laugh and there were absolutely no one giving out sweets...
Same here, I haven't had a single person knocking on my door all through Halloween. I remember in 06' there was people knocking on my house door every five minutes for candy, we'd run out of goodies to give out and we kept some for ourselves. My Dad thought it'd be funny to open the door covered in animal parts and blood when he was preparing some food for himself and scare the living hell out of people, he got into some trouble by the misses.
Lucky
Speaking of which, only about 30 kids came to my door this year. Usually theres more people about.

Generous. Cocaine ain't cheap [editline]1st November 2012[/editline] No one knocked on our door. I'm glad too, I hate halloween. It's just a stupid, made up festival with the sole aim of having shops make some money.
This had to have been a mistake, as ridiculous as it sounds. No one gives away cocaine, especially in a way that also means they're gonna get caught. It's like paying the kid 60 bucks to shoot you in the foot.
I don't mind small children coming to the door with their parents, but most of the time it's teenagers in trackies and a scream mask.

we live in the woods nobody ever knocks on our door... although to be honest id be a bit weirded out if they did.

Fucking A. I had a sneaking suspicion that I should be a small British child going trick or treating the other night.
I feel bad if they genuinely did do this by accident, there's probably £100-£200 down the drain and a load of hassle included
