Damn I was hoping for something new.
what the hell man he just fucking ditched Codsworth
I like how the Deathclaws look and fight like something out of Monster Hunter
The raider on the rooftop trying to kill the player in power armor with a peashooter is hilarious
At about 4 minutes in, it looks like not only are there death animations but you can dismember people without them just exploding into pieces, one of the raiders got chopped in half at the waist by the minigun.
The new call of duty is really looking good (User was banned for this post ("Trolling" - Craptasket))

Hell, with a lot of stuff actually. [editline]17th July 2015[/editline]
The new call of duty is really looking good
You heard it here first guys. Having decent gunplay makes a game like Call of Duty now.
Also I love how the world is 20 years after the war again and who needs skills when you've got perks
Also I love how the world is 20 years after the war again and who needs skills when you've got perks
It takes place after FO3. So it isn't 20 years after the war. Also again? None of the games took place 20 years after the war.
I like how the Deathclaws look and fight like something out of Monster Hunter
How so? It looked like it fought more like a bullet sponge than something out of monster hunter
How so? It looked like it fought more like a bullet sponge than something out of monster hunter
The roar making the screen shake, running four legged and swiping with the claws so hard it makes the player stumble.
200 years after the war actually, but you were close!

It takes place after FO3. So it isn't 20 years after the war. Also again? None of the games took place 20 years after the war.
way to miss the point lol and you even know it's 200 years after the war the point is that the world made by beth doesn't really give a shit that it's 200 years lore wise, and just makes it fresh outta the apocalypse
way to miss the point lol
What point?
I see where Proch is coming from though. The gunplay in this does remind me a bit of CoD. It just seems...off. Certainly an improvement from FO3/NV but still.
the point is that the world made by beth doesn't really give a shit that it's 200 years lore wise, and just makes it fresh outta the apocalypse
I don't know, those really tall new/refurbished buildings in Boston don't look like they're 20 years out of the war.
way to miss the point lol and you even know it's 200 years after the war the point is that the world made by beth doesn't really give a shit that it's 200 years lore wise, and just makes it fresh outta the apocalypse
People tend to refurbish and rebuild after, you know, 2 centuries. and I don't know if you noticed, but most of the wasteland is still dust and rubble so I don't know how "post-apocalyptic" you want it to be.
I'd rather have the gunplay be like CoD tbh would be better than whatever finicky shit bethesda attempts [editline]17th July 2015[/editline]
Do you seriously expect things to still be dust and rubble after 200 years? People tend to refurbish and rebuild after, you know, 2 centuries.
You're just saying exactly what he's saying.
Do you seriously expect things to still be dust and rubble after 200 years? People tend to refurbish and rebuild after, you know, 2 centuries.
I don't think that is what proch means.
shit my mistake, read his post wrong. I get that he's trying to say the wastleland looks fresh. There's rubble everywhere. Radiation puddles and monsters everywhere. Raiders and bandits are everywhere. There are locations where societies are built. A fresh nuclear blast means nothing is left over. Only dust and clouds of radiation. Again, I still don't understand how post-apocalyptic he wants it to be.
The weird delay with shooting in the last 2 games has always bothered me and I'd avoid entire weapon sets because of it whenever I played through them. Whenever I played FO3 on Xbox I didn't even bother killing anything outside of vats unless it was a roach or melee raider or something. I'm really hoping the general clunkiness of combat gets polished over with Fallout 4.
They gave the protagonist a voice? Not sure I dig that.
Can't wait for the porn mods for this
They gave the protagonist a voice? Not sure I dig that.
You're just learning this now?
Looks alright i guess I hope that power armor works like armor and not just a power up you can jump into, would be a step backwards and a damn shame considering how awesome it seems to look and feel now.
People are reporting a possible Enclave radio at 3:08. Wouldn't be surprised to find an appearance by them again, here's hopes that Beth, since they're going for a Fallout 1 like aesthetic, makes the Enclave have as nice power armor as with the regular power armor we've seen so far.
The new call of duty is really looking good
I too enjoy when I press the mouse button to fire my weapon, and the game takes a half second to register the command and fire. Who needs enjoyable gameplay?
I see where Proch is coming from though. The gunplay in this does remind me a bit of CoD. It just seems...off. Certainly an improvement from FO3/NV but still.
how does it feel like CoD? is it because you can aim down sights? it looks like a better version of the gunplay from 3/NV, with the ability of aiming down sights. See no resemblance to Call of Duty.
I too enjoy when I press the mouse button to fire my weapon, and the game takes a half second to register the command and fire. Who needs enjoyable gameplay?
I personally prefer shooters, but I recognize that everyone has different tastes and one isn't more inherently enjoyable than the other. Boy, that was hard.
So what, every game with shooting is call of duty? I mean I get if you don't want this game to be a shooter more than anything but why is it automatically exactly like COD
