• Fifth Grader Brings Marijuana Laced Cereal To School
A Contra Costa County fifth grader was detained by Pittsburg, CA police after they say she brought Fruity Pebbles “treats” laced with marijuana to school. The girl says she got the marijuana laced snacks from her sister who used her medical marijuana card to buy the treats. Two students reported to the principal that a fifth grade girl had brought a marijuana treat to school and she and a group of her 10-year-old friends were nibbling at it in the schoolyard.Parents of the children who ingested the food were called and the children were sent home. The fifth grader was fully aware that her snack of choice was laced with the drug. Parents, and guardians, the “Say No to Drugs” conversation is no longer one that can be had when you child goes to high school. Because whether you are having it with them or not, someone is molding your child’s mind about drugs. And for many of us who deal and live in recovery we know that by 12-13, many of us has already had our first experience with alcohol, marijuana, and even the “harder’ drugs.
Where are my pebbles! If they were about 5 years older, it would have been funnier.
lol at the people who are camping in this thread waiting for anything pro-marijuana so they can rate them dumb
There goes the sister's medical marijuana license.
ladies and gentlemen: the future of the world
the future is now!
lol at the people who are camping in this thread waiting for anything pro-marijuana so they can rate them dumb
Marijuana is harmless.
We should legalize pot and tax the shit out of it.
Why the fuck would a 5th grader need pot?
true villain: the sister
Marijuana is harmless.
When ingested it is, when smoked it has the same side effects as cigarettes (coating your lungs with tar and making them digest themselves)
When ingested it is, when smoked it has the same side effects as cigarettes (coating your lungs with tar and making them digest themselves)
Marijuana is harmless.
Look, I'm pro marijuana, but this is ridiculous. I think it should be legal, but damn, there needs to be an age limit.
Look, I'm pro marijuana, but this is ridiculous. I think it should be legal, but damn, there needs to be an age limit.
but why if it's not harmful at all?
Look, I'm pro marijuana, but this is ridiculous. I think it should be legal, but damn, there needs to be an age limit.
Seriously. It is harmless to full grown adults. I mean, I have never seen any research on it, but smoking anything as a kid is bad. And the effects could be worse since they have less developed reasoning skills, which would apply more to this situation.
People who think it's okay for 5th graders to smoke pot are stupid.
When ingested it is, when smoked it has the same side effects as cigarettes (coating your lungs with tar and making them digest themselves)
Doesn't give you cancer though. So no, Not the same side effects. And it's actually a lot less harmful either way.

I guess that's where the Cinnamon Toast Crunch "the taste you can see" ad comes from.
She was eating it in fruity pebbles, why should it be legal for adults and illegal for kids in this?
Because when high, stupid people get more stupid. Children are very "stupid" until they mature.
She was eating it in fruity pebbles, why should it be legal for adults and illegal for kids in this?
Mind-altering drug + developing brain - any concept of responsible behavior... WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG!?
Because when high, stupid people get more stupid. Children are very "stupid" until they mature.
How do they get more stupid? It's a chemical change in the brain that has nothing to do with intelligence other than reason.
Children are very "stupid" until they mature.
So what you're saying is that children are immature until they mature...? Got it :downs:
How do they get more stupid? It's a chemical change in the brain that has nothing to do with intelligence other than reason.
Got me there.
So what you're saying is that children are immature until they mature...? Got it :downs:
That is exactly what i'm saying. You should get a gold star for figuring that out.
I think it marijuana should be legal simply because there are other worse things that are (alcohol) but there should be an age limit. This coming from a guy who's never been around or smoked marijuana before.
Kid should go to jail for like 5 hours to scare her off the drug forever.
