Fucking hell, would this have taken anymore than 5 minutes to code? CS:S players have been waiting for a decent update for how long and you shit on us with this valve? Fucking wow. It's not very often I feel disppointed in valve.

So yes you came in here with hope and got disappointed, but they're still giving support to an old game, there are not many big developers that do that.

As well as possible warez distribution from what it seems like. There are no other possible reasons on why a host would purposely upload gcf files to the connecting clients

Most companies would stop supporting a game as old as CSS, Valve still supports their old games, even if it's just minor bug fixes.
