So I've been noticing that my pile of unused plastic guitars are piling up, (7 Total Now) and really want to sell some, because I only use 2-3 of them. I've managed to get the stickers off, but this residue is stuck on it, and I've tried everything to get it off. Any ideas of what I can use? [Image Below]

EDIT:
Well, I found a solution. I got the green side of the sponge and some Listerine Mouthwash and scrubbed away, giving me this result.

Thanks for the help and a wrench for Bredirish123.
Just go to any home store and buy some stuff there. I got something called 'Sticky Stuff Remover'.
Just rubbing alcohol should do it...

An aptly named product if ever there was one..
I heard Rubbing Alcohol/Astringent works well on stuff like this. And maybe a scrubbing pad (The Green Ones, not Wire) to gently rub it away.
Alcohol should do it.
We use rubbing alcohol at work to get old glue off of carpet strip and shit, so it might work.
And I don't know if you can get it at consumer stores, but we also have this spray called Adhesive Remover 2000 (or something similar) and it pretty much dissolves the glue on contact. Works great.

Damn, I was going to post that
Mineral Spirits usually does the job, but you might want some specialized stuff to get rid of that much gunk.
Maybe polish nail remover would work.

Aren't you that guy from PHW that made the hexxing tutorial? :buddy:
I think I still have that bookmarked somewhere
Now get some strong cleaner and wipe off the thin layer that smeared and it'll be all shiny

I did make one years ago, yes. I believe I posted it both here and on PHW.
OP, you didn't clean it. All you did was rub it all over the faceplate. It's still there. USE ACTUAL ASTRINGENT/RUBBING ALCOHOL not fucking Listerine.

Yeah I remember using it alot. And then something happened to PHW. I remember when PHW made cool comics and posted it on their frontpage :D
"De-solve it"
Good one it looks fucked
I fucking hate stickers... Lol

This, Goo Gone is insanely great. I even removed sticker residue off of a Nintendo DS screen without harming it.
You could have used baby oil, you wouldn't have to use the green sponge and scratch up the plastic if you used baby oil.
