Google says there are 1.357 billion Chinese now, without that policy there would be like 200-300 million more. It would probably be a bigger demographic problem than this now.

We all gotta do our best to control world population. Earth has only enough resources to support 2 billion people living at current european standards, and now that China is getting richer and richer they wanna up their lifestyle aswell. Add to that the fact that an american consumes 2 to 3 times as much as an european, and it starts to look scary. It's gonna be a pretty big problem. Probably the biggest problem of this century...
