Difference is Obama hasn't tried to annex a country while in his presidency while Putin is essentially doing exactly that, i'm not saying Obama is a saint or anything (and it can be argued that a lot of the negative stuff he's been accused of isn't his fault but congress's) but he's nowhere near as bad as Putin.
