How about make a more secure site?
Most of us have to do it on our own and can't afford to pay top dollar programmers
Their games aren't anything special or enjoyable anyway, too bad for them. That's why 'ye hire hackers to test your security.

so they just took email info from 25000 people because a site they were in wasn't secure enough?
I think they would need a better reason to hack it
This one isn't nearly as big a deal as the Sony one. They stole what, email addresses? Maybe customer names? And only 25,000 of them?
And two web sites were taken down temporarily, neither of which are really significant. The Deus Ex one might lose them a bit of advertising, but they won't really lose gobs of money over it.
Compare that to Sony's problem: 77,000,000 usernames, passwords and other data stolen, along with 12,000,000 credit cards. And a major revenue-making service taken offline for weeks.

If you read the article, you would know what they could do with those e-mail addresses

When you see a Deusex.com apologize email, open it.
aaand here come the copycat hackers
Where the fuck is the Cyberpolice.
Square own Eidos but that doesn't mean Eidos has to take flak for whatever. Eidos Montreal haven't even released their first fucking game and yet they go straight for the DX site. I can't tell if they're trying to show off exploits or if its personal.
I never asked for this
So strange, what could the root of all this recent hacking be? Did it all start with Sony, or is the root deeper and further back than that?
Really hope Steam isn't next on the list.

"I don't like the games they make so who cares?"
Jesus. Are you kidding?
Right after announcing staggering losses, what a shame.

Enough with the Shenanigans already.
First Sony, then the WORLD!
It's beginning to look like everything needs a massive security overhaul.
