The 3-year-old dog, a Belgian Malinois named Spartacus, was found dead Monday night inside the K-9 handler's car, which was parked outside his home, Brittany Duncan, a Woodstock Police Department spokeswoman, said in a written statement.
What a fuck-up.
RIP Spartacus, you served the public honorably.
I bet the handler feels like massive shit right now, I know I would =/.
Had to be some freak occurrence, most K9 patrol units keep AC on for the dogs.
Really should've never happened. Most K9 cars have auto fans in the back if it gets too hot. There is no AC in the back of the car because the K9 has to be acclimated to the weather it works in.
The Belgian Malinois breed are awesome dogs though
