Also consider an Olympus OM-1/OM-2 or Pentax ME Super.

But yeah in the U.K we have trade it and stuff, i guess yours is like craigs list
[QUOTE=B-hazard;31599400]Also consider an Olympus OM-1/OM-2 or Pentax ME Super.[/QUOTE] What this guy said. Seriously for a little extra dosh, OM cameras will treat you like a king.
OM-1 is godlike [editline]8th August 2011[/editline] Probably fairly reasonable to assume that the OM-2 is as well.
I'm debating weather to buy an OM-1 or a manual adapter for my OM-10.
well, manual adaptors seem to go for about a tenner on ebay, and considering that i managed to get my om-1md for 20 quid (for the body), it might be worth it to spend that extra money the shutter speed ring is just really nice to use, plus i've heard that some people had trouble with the manual adaptors because they sometimes lost connection, resulting in unreliable shutter then again i guess the downside is the lack of any sort of automatic mode at all, plus i had to spend 5 quid on a battery that replaced those old 1.35V mercury cells (though apparently it should last about a year) [editline]8th August 2011[/editline] also the OM-1 doesn't have an ASA 3200 setting, only goes up to 1600
I'd recommend the OM-10 for a novice 35mm shooter. First 35mm SLR I used and I still love it to bits.
Please use the "which camera is right for me" or the film photography thread next time.
