An off-duty Ministry of Defence police dog handler has taken a video of what he claims is a panther-sized big cat.
"I've heard stories about creatures like this moving about the countryside, but never really believed them before" http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/scotland/glasgow_and_west/8172064.stm
Trains don't come only when they really need to
Or maybe its just a panther?
We've had big cats here for years.
I guess the cop didn't pussy out.
yeah here in staffordshire there's been sightings of regular panthers around the moors
I like how he sounded so panicked when instead he was probably just a mouth-breathing idiot.
Panther sized cat? What? It's probably A PANTHER.
kinky
Why the hell was he breathing so heavily Was he seriously that scared
Maybe they should make their zoos more secure.
I would of Loled out loud if the cat was abducted by aliens

What the fuck? That looks like a regular cat.
That cat should be fined £200 for trespassing on the railway.
Been plenty of big cat / panther sightings around where I live, their territory spans for tens of miles. Nice to catch a video of one though.
Pc Swallow has no doubt that the creature he spotted was a big cat
Isn't it a normal sized cat?
oh shit son
It probably is a panther. There have been sightings of big cats all over Britain, in the late sixties apparently it was fashionable with some upper class people to keep big cats as pets(some obviously escaped or had babies then the owners abandoned them or something)
Its a Scottish wild cat! :downs: But seriously, it escaped from a zoo.

Apparently panther sightings really are common around there.
Umm... Comparing the cat to the rails on the video, yes it's a pretty big cat, but panther-sized? Oh silly.

"Seriously fellas, its teeth were at least a foot long each!"
I want what he smokes!
Looks like the policeman wasn't a pussy after all -Insert Austin Powers Meme Here-

seeing as how "panthers" can be cougars, jaguars, and leopards, this doesn't seem strange to me
