In this thread post someone on YouTube who you really love but doesn't have a lot of subs/isn't very well known. One of my favorite youtubers is SorcererDave. He does roleplaying let's plays of RPGs like The Elder Scrolls and Fallout and so on and watching him play a game (especially Oblivion) is like being transported to the ultimate relaxation zone for me. He's actually re-shaped the way I play through RPGs for years now.
Lord Mandalore: pretty much Reviews whatever the hell he wants, regardless of relevance. Templin Institute: Lore Videos, very well made
Tehsnakerer is a great channel that does in depth reviews on video games. He doesn't post much, but that's because they're nicely long videos. Most of his vids are dry but if he does make a joke it's pretty quick so if it fails to make you laugh it doesn't stick round much. Bosnianbill is just some dude who uploads lock/lockpicking videos. I think I saw him here once with some kind of bizarre key thing once and been subbed ever since. Just regular, informative content. There's also danooct1 who reviews old malware/viruses/whatever.
SurrealBeliefs His Total War: Warhammer playthroughs are pretty good, and he usually talks about the lore while playing the game. I started getting into Warhammer recently (mostly fantasy for now), so I really appreciate the bits of lore in his videos. :v:

If you love video essays and music, I'd highly recommend Sideways
Nakey Jakey Some guy from the small town US who does short but sweet rambling videos on random concepts usually related to gaming. Also a pretty good rapper.
I like his videos, i wish he would come out with more.
not only Frank but Mega64 in general
mega64 is anything but lesser known
Facepuncher posted his video a while ago and man I watched a lot of his videos, they are just fantastic. William Osman, while not competely obscure, he isn't as well known as imo he deserves to be. He doesn't have the ultra high quality everything-is-perfect but he just has the regular dude attitude to everything and seeing him develop and build all these silly inventions is amazing, and even inspiring! [sp]rip his house tho :([/sp]
I'm unsure if Nightmind(And Nix Fears) counts? Same with Nerd City.

ZIP TIES N BIAS PLIES mastermilo82 NU Music (for his UT99 remixes)
HayvenGames He made a lot of WoW videos looking at secrets, development maps, cut content, and history. Unfortunately he died from cancer
Dome Candy Games is pretty good
Conquering History Games does a lot of great videos on historical games, but mostly on the modification for Hearts of Iron IV, Kaiserreich. GawsHawg, does a video series similar to Demolition D since Demo's channel is dead. Fither, my favorite Shin Megami Tensei/Persona/Meme Streamer (Spoilers for Persona 5) Finally, Preston Jacobs who does videos on Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire. Spoilers galore.
Nakey Jakey <vid> Some guy from the small town US who does short but sweet rambling videos on random concepts usually related to gaming. Also a pretty good rapper.
Is 224k subs really lesser known? I feel like that's massively popular. Not saying the videos are bad, and contrary to my point I didn't even know him.
I like technical dave nice stories LGR is nice
Neon Ice Cavern Dude has like 100 subscribers but his videos are such good quality.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC62zG9Ay9bmCyXnYWo7CvZg Lost Animations, only 119 subs he uploads vintage cgi demos and old/obscure cartoons. His channel was taken down last year and he recently came back.
I follow channels that are pretty big or already mentioned, save for baremetalhw. He does customs and restorations of old die-cast cars.

Brandon F. - Great stories and critiques on historical media David Butler - Really long and fascinating series on the Universe, go watch it
VooDooWop has some funny skits
Supergreatfriend: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYhpZj9HM_7mQP-g7tbZM4Q I consider him to have one of the best let's play channels because his planned series are extremely detailed and he has a lot to say about the games he plays. The 100% deadly premonition playthrough may be his best known series He isn't loud or obnoxious and watching his videos feels genuinely calming. When he makes jokes they are very dry, and he will actually let the game cutscenes and character dialog finish before talking unlike many other lpers. I will often watch him play games that I've already beaten because of how informative he can be.
A lot of traditional painting channels deserve more views.
