ART SCHOOL! I did an interpretive dance to a NIN song as a performance art piece. - General

Hi, folks. So, I'm in college now (Maryland Institute College of Art to be exact), and I'm in my foundation year and doing all kinds of crazy shit--all kinds of crazy [i]arty[/i] shit. I figured I'd share some of the wild shenanigans I've been up to, starting with this. If the mods thing this is actually more of a "video only" post, then close this and I'll slink away quietly to the video section; however, I'm posting this here because I just want to share some of the craziness that's been going on in my life, which is pretty "general"--and also happens to have a video as extra information. :v: Anyhow! [b]The story![/b] So, I have this class called "Elements of Visual Thinking". We pretty much do all kinds of crazy, general, unfocused stuff ranging from drawing to sculpture to photography to installations to everything else I've missed to [i]performance art[/i]. For one assignment, we had to come up with a costume design that incorporated a hula hoop. I drew this thing of a robotic man who has a kind of track and gear system going through the center of his stomach, to which a hula hoop with a track built on the inside rim is attached and rotating about. His fingers each have wires that attach to his knees, heart, and mind, and he has a "balanced pose". Two weeks later, we're asked to either: push another studio piece we did farther, realize the costume (impossible for my robot man), or create a performance art piece in response. Considering that all I [i]do[/i] here at the moment is paint and draw, all I could think was "[i]nomorestudiopiecesnomorestudiopiecesnomorestudiopieces[/i]". I hope that they don't remove the audio or take the video down or something--but while it's still there, watch it! Feel free to respond with your thoughts, interpretations, and obligatory funnies. :P There was also another performance art piece.. A guy did a dance to a remix of "Halo" and "Single Ladies" smashed together. There was pantyhose. What do you guys think? Any suggestions or comments are welcome, and I'm curious to hear your interpretations or whatever you think in general as well.
