The latest ad, paid for by American Muslims for Palestine, says "End apartheid now. Stop U.S. aid to Israel."
Can someone tell me why Israel needs aid? (not being a smartass here I actually want to know if there's a good reason)
Can someone tell me why Israel needs aid? (not being a smartass here I actually want to know if there's a good reason)
Because freedom!
Can someone tell me why Israel needs aid? (not being a smartass here I actually want to know if there's a good reason)
My understanding of the situation is that they're America's "ally" in the middle east, and saying anything bad about Israel is political suicide due to voter numbers. The problem is that they've been constant scumbags who have dicked America over constantly, not to mention the whole Palestine thing. Somebody more educated than I can take over now.
Can someone tell me why Israel needs aid? (not being a smartass here I actually want to know if there's a good reason)
They don't.
Can someone tell me why Israel needs aid? (not being a smartass here I actually want to know if there's a good reason)
Depends if you think geopolitical reasons are good reasons.
Can someone tell me why Israel needs aid? (not being a smartass here I actually want to know if there's a good reason)
Well alternatively we could let the monarchies/assad syria/pre-2003 Iraq have regional hegemony Oh except that'd destabilize the whole area and be bad for everyone.
Can someone tell me why Israel needs aid? (not being a smartass here I actually want to know if there's a good reason)
They don't, but it's really the only thing that allows Israel to exist as it is currently. Of the billions in concessions that Israel gets from the U.S., a large chunk of it is spent on their own military for buying multimillion dollar aircraft from the U.S. Without the aid from the U.S., Israel would be a considerably weaker state that wouldn't be able to do nearly the shit it gets away with now.
They have nukes and fighter jets, they're fine they don't need the aid.
Can someone tell me why Israel needs aid? (not being a smartass here I actually want to know if there's a good reason)
So their MOSAD can spy back on USA and everyone else, among other things.
It's depressing because it's true.
Surely they can do fine without that huge amount of aid, seeing as they managed to build that west bank wall.
Fuck Israel.
And here we go http://yonkers.dailyvoice.com/news/anti-islam-posters-be-next-battle-advertising-war
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- More billboards dealing with Israel and Islam could be going up this week at Metro-North train stations in Westchester. The American Freedom Defense Initiative submitted ads to the Metropolitan Transit Authority Wednesday that call for the end of U.S. aid to Islamic states. The campaign is in response to the American Muslims for Palestine ads that went up Monday, said Pamela Geller, co-founder of AFDI. Those pro-Palestine posters, currently up at a few stations, including White Plains and Ossining, read: “Americans Give Israel $3 Billion Per Year! End Apartheid Now! Stop U.S. Aid To Israel.”
Someone just needs to fund a sign "Both of these arguments are dumb," and have that all over the station.

Still cannot believe that Hitler delivered this news whilst on a trampoline...
Can't trust a nobel peace prize winner with the name Desmond Tutu.
Well alternatively we could let the monarchies/assad syria/pre-2003 Iraq have regional hegemony Oh except that'd destabilize the whole area and be bad for everyone.
'we could let' not really doing much to dispel the perception that america operates according to its own rules and does whatever the fuck it wants
The ad's content isn't even controversial. While anti-Islamic ads seek to generalize all Muslims and paint them savage-like, anti-Israeli ads remain within the scope of the facts and refrain from generalizing any Israelis.
My understanding of the situation is that they're America's "ally" in the middle east, and saying anything bad about Israel is political suicide due to voter numbers.
Voters don't even care about Israel. I don't want to sound anti-semetic or anything but it is all about that sweet jew banker pac money.
I don't want to sound anti-semetic or anything but it is all about that sweet jew banker pac money.
Then why do you do so much?
The only controversy there should be is that the US is supporting a country that has similar practises as east germany had. But keep crying that your country has no money and needs to cut budgets on education and science.

The likelihood of the USA cutting ties with Israel is zero. It's too much of a risk that, in the event of the USA severing relations, a nuclear Israel would truly go rogue and wipe out a portion of the middle east.
But explaining the facts is bad.. -.-' PC culture shits me sometimes.
This has nothing to do with ~PC culture~ Its vested interest.
Still cannot believe that Hitler delivered this news whilst on a trampoline...
Godwin's law never truly fails, does it? :suicide:
Godwin's law never truly fails, does it? :suicide:
That isn't godwin. It needs to be a comparison.
Can someone tell me why Israel needs aid? (not being a smartass here I actually want to know if there's a good reason)
Israel doesn't really need aid, but we never really stopped giving it to them after the Cold War ended (which was why they got aid from us to begin with). Israel was "our man" in the middle east while the Soviets had Egypt and Syria. We both pumped a lot of aid into "our man" over there to combat the other's.
That isn't godwin. It needs to be a comparison.
you know who else put up anti-jewish propaganda? hitler ~wake up america~
