I mean holy shit look at the kinda scenes they were dropping out
Absolutely incredible, it's amazing what technology can do nowadays.
fuck the monk scenes reminded me the series ended i loved that series
It's a little late, but damn it's good to watch that again. Really shows how cool the colour green is.
holy shit set designers get lazier every damn year

Same happened to me. :frown:
a lot of those weren't at all believable, and all of them were fairly unconvincing once the green screen portions were pointed out. it's still impressive, but just saying

So working months to get the scene look believable is lazy and Just spending millions to be allowed to film there and film it in two hours is not lazy?
some of them were pretty good
others weren't
scene from 3:03 what is it from?
And if you like bad green screen effects take and look at Sanctuary.
I dunno, i like to have real sets.
Some of those were quite obvious, but others were really well done.

It was from a BBC documentary about visiting the other planets in the solar system. That particular one was Venus.
And this is why I want to get into a video production career.
At first I pointed out something and said to myself "That part is a greenscreen!", then the video faded over and everything was a damn greenscreen.
The water at 2:45 looked really fake...
What's dumb about this?
I feel betrayed now.
Also I think as an actor it would kind of frustrate me.
I would have never thought the famous Heroes' scene was a greenscreen.

No its just so much cheaper to do it digitally, and the set is always perfect.
Also:
The tracking methods used can really matter when you're doing a realistic looking scene.
That's why used to prefer using still standing cameras and the motion and other effects would have been added afterwards.
If it weren't for this video, I never would have known that so many of those scenes weren't even "real".
That space movie near 3:03, which is that?
Well, I'm not going to try and determine what parts of a movie or TV show are greenscreen again, because this showed me I have been failing miserably.

Yes.
What's real anymore :gonk:
Even Monk, where the backgrounds aren't THAT exotic...
I wonder how movie editing will work in the future.
What was that show with the E.M.T. arriving at a burning ferry? Looks pretty good.
Most interesting vid Ive seen in a long time.
Fuck Green Screen, Red screen is where it's at.
Good god, never imagined that much could be green screened.
