Since there are rather good number of Rammstein fans in this forum I checked through the search function if this had been posted yet. In Vienna, June, Rammstein played a new song called Ramm4. For those not understanding the text, the entire text is built by song titles and texts from the past 20 years of Rammstein songs. It's not exactly sure if this will be a new song from their next album or just a "Best of"- live celebration of their whole career. Their new album is currently scheduled for 2017. Have fun. edit: With a bit better sound quality: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=376J8JSfmws
oh man i fucking love ramm4 its such a good song i cant wait for a studio version
Similarly in this music video they're revisiting their past ones trying to figure out who killed Till. I love these guys' attention to the shit around the music, their live performances and music videos are absolutely top-notch. Definitely looking forward to what they come up with next.
This is the opening song on their recent concerts, at least was a month ago, can't wait for the album, it's been a looooong time since a proper one.
I'm a huge rammstein fan, but the first time I heard Ramm4 I instantly thought of Bill Bailey's rammstein pisstake, to which it actually shares quite a lot of elements It took me a week or so of listening to it to start to really, really like it. managed to crank out the first tab for it, , and still nobody on youtube can seem to do a guitar cover of it properly yet. I'd like to hear a new album, but Flake had said in an interview recently that the song is to show that they are still making music, but there hasn't been progress on an album. I quote:
It is difficult to say how far along we are, because a lot of the time everything seems to be going well, and then there are days when we just want to start the whole process all over again. That is why there is no objective view about how far we are.
We'll just have to see. Shame that the rain at Download fucked with the PA and meant the song had horrendous noise throughout it
