Some of you might remember the first album Theophany put out for Majora's Mask.

The more I listened to the first album, the less I liked it. This only got worse after Majora's Mask 3DS got released, which defused my need for MM media.

it does the same thing I disliked about the first set, though
after a really good song it drags the outro out forever and comes across overly edgy to me

I get what you are saying. But as a former music producer, I understand the direction that is needed for this type of music. Atmospheric music isn't about any sort of set structure, it is about getting you sucked into the atmosphere, with this and the other album he is again using variations of the melodies.
