A suggestion- profile shows what user was banned for - General

I'm not sure if this has been brought up, but I think it would be useful for a banned member's profile to show the reason why they were banned and the post that was. This is already available when you click on the relevant button when you see a post by the member, but I think this should also be on the user's profile page as well. Why do I want it? Don't know. Guess I get a kick out of seeing what people were banned for. Useless. As you said, the bans already appears in their event history.

But we're limited by actually having to get a post of theirs to see the event log, and that's hard to do with searching being restricted. Otherwise I have to try and pull it up through a google search. I agree with the above posters- showing the entire event log on a user's profile would be nice.

OP was banned by TH89 in the thread "BREAKING: Facepunch policy changes - Use of the word 'nigger' now acceptable" for using a racial slur. It turned out that using [i]THAT WORD(!)[/i] wasn't actually acceptable.

[/quote] I'm well aware of of the event log button- but that requires one to actually be looking at a post by that user, which may not be possible if we can not search for the post beyond using google currently. I thought I made that clear in my original post, but I suppose not well enough.

Banned users should be able to view the forums but not be able to post/rate/blog in anything but the RC

People should have their original avatar showing up in their profile page when they're ban, it's p. hard trying to obtain theirs when permabanned.
