Took these today. We went for the overblown/vintage look. I'm still editing, but I'll upload some more if people like them! Let me know what you think. Edit: Added some more 21/03-12 by SebbePichard, on Flickr 21/03-12 by SebbePichard, on Flickr 21/03-12 by SebbePichard, on Flickr IMG_565421/03-12 by SebbePichard, on Flickr 21/03-12 by SebbePichard, on Flickr 21/03-12 by SebbePichard, on Flickr 21/03-12 by SebbePichard, on Flickr 21/03-12 by SebbePichard, on Flickr 21/03-12 by SebbePichard, on Flickr 21/03-12 by SebbePichard, on Flickr
Not sure how I feel about the post processing, vintage yes, but possibly a little too warm. Beautiful shots though
great shots! but yeah a little bit warm, and a tad overexposed. other than that they are excellent
Take what you've done, and overlay them at 50% opacity over the originals. I like em.
Thanks for the critique guys. I'm still learning! I'll give it a go tomorrow bopie!
Can you explain how you get that look? Like could you really give me a small tutorial on how to do that? or maybe a link to a tutorial that explains how to achieve that processing? because Honestly, I love it. I LOVE IT!!! <<<<<<<<that's how I look when I mean that I LOVE IT. Srsly, good work :)
Noctis, you'd want to go out at Golden Hour for a start, then for processing I'd suggest upping the contrast a bit and using colour transform tools bring out the reds and yellows in the shadows and the mid tones. Then maybe up the saturation a bit too and do as bopie said: lay what you've edited back onto an original image at 50-80% opacity. Hope I have helped :)

The Golden hour....that's one thing I need to take into consideration more often, the time of day.
I need to take into consideration more often, the time of day.
Doesn't matter the time so much as paying attention to the light in general. You can make it work any 'time of day' if you know what you're doing.
some of the overexposure looks great, but in a few it just doesn't work

that one in particular, it really doesn't look right
The overexposed hair outlines really annoy me in my own photography. This is all post though is it not?
The overexposed hair outlines really annoy me in my own photography. This is all post though is it not?
does the sun count as post production????
does the sun count as post production????
Oh yes totally haha
This was a very amazing album. But a little too warm.
The third one shouldn't be included in the album, it's the weakest shot of the bunch. Subject's pose doesn't seem natural, expression is blank, background is cluttered, and it's overexposed. Otherwise, the rest of the pictures are very striking.
21/03-12 by SebbePichard, on Flickr her right eye is just across the "out of focus" line and it really looks weird.
