Windows Steam theme - General

I've started making a [URL="http://yorgash.deviantart.com/art/Steam-Windows-WIP-1st-April-441200074"]Steam themed Visual Style for Windows[/URL]. I want to keep it simple, but I'd welcome any and all suggestions you'd like to see in the final version. Will this work for Windows 8?

I'm planning to port it to Windows 8, but depending on my ability to do so, it might take some time to finish the port, so it will probably be released somewhat later than the initial Windows 7 release.
