So they gave away some major details in this trailer, but the setup slayed me. If you're planning on seeing this film and don't want the ending spoiled, don't watch it.
I wonder why exactly they decided to make some areas of the world look realistic instead of making it completely out of Lego like the first movie (donno if they kept that in the Batman one). Especially the water, Lego water looked amazing.
I didn't expect this to look this good from the title

The water would be made of Legos in that movie because that's all the kid had, and the film did have some non-lego things in it too (the kragle). With Batman they did shift to having real water, the implication being that now that Will Ferrell is letting his son play with the legos in more unique ways, he could do stuff like use real water for a pool, or take them outside. Everything seems to be to real life scale for the most part, with the real stuff being much bigger than the figs.[/sp] Or maybe they're just lazy for this one, I dunno
A fucking Lego cinematic universe, god damn
A fucking Lego cinematic universe, god damn
To be fair, Lego has always had cinematic universes. Also game universes.

I just imagine it as either Will Ferrel and Son are going buck wild with their legos (letting his son use water), or each movie is it's own unique creation from another child in the world. Either way, I love these Lego movies.
