I love this guy. Most of his videos are a mix of real advice mixed in with humor. Except for this one:
This is now my favourite channel :v:
Fuck I want his accent!
This is funny, but I've done cross-fit, and I feel like it's an all (well most) body workout, maybe a bit more with agility and health in mind, but still put me into the strongest shape I've been in when I was at it, especially because I combined it with other classes; I think mixing and engaging different parts of the body is better than beefing up your arms. Idk, I'm actually curious if anybody else has done it/what you think. Was he being a little sarcastic?

Edit: Just the setup of a circuits based class does make it a little more difficult for the instructor to catch someone doing an exersize the wrong way, but the good instructors will help if you take the initiative and ask.
Crossfit being a class doesn't make sense. That doesn't mean there is anything wrong with actual cardio if that's your goal. But some of the workouts you see crossfit classes doing make no sense.
All of Dom's videos are completely satirical - his real name is Mike Tornabene and he went to film school at NYU. Either way, he's criticizing crossfit because it's not pure strength training (i.e. bench/incline/curls etc.). Obviously people's exercise goals are different though Check out: http://nyulocal.com/on-campus/2011/10/26/an-interview-with-nyu-grad-mike-tornabene-creator-of-youtube-hit-dom-mazzetti-2/
