I saw a warning in some bud quality guide about weed containing glass shards.
Does this still happen,and if it does, how do I recognize it?
it's really crackly weed(when you smoke it in a pipe, it'll crackle a lot). if you suspect weed of being grit, rub it against a CD(not a stem the bud) and if it makes a scratch it's grit.
The bud made a little scratch when pressed hard, but its pretty hard bud so I guess its okay.

I don't understand how this is a threat... Anything light enough to be inhaled wouldn't necessarily be a danger, seeing as mucous would stop it before it reached the lungs. Anything heavy, and therefore dangerous, would just fall out of the ashes or not be sucked up.
Am I a dumbass or is what I said partially true?
Not true I'm afraid. If you burn rubber and inhale it you'll poison yourself. Just because it can be inhaled doesn't make it safe at all.
