he states that he's not sure if the way he does it is necessary, but that he knows for sure it won't work if you blow all the crystals in order
I've played through halo 3 a fuck ton of times and I never once remembered those green crystals.
Actually those crystals look like they were just modded in on the spot. No texture on them at all.
I used to bash those crystals and break them every time I played that level.
That was almost 7 years ago, fuck.

this is a pretty cool considering it has been in since retail and only just recently found though. kudos to the guy who found it.
Why 343 though? I get that it's 7*7*7 but why not something relating more to Bungie instead of what would later become the devilspawn of Microsoft's greed?

fuck, after watching the video (it didn't show how to do it, only the easter egg itself) i destroyed every crystal as I saw them, I didn't do them in any order. Also did it on normal instead of legendary. damnit oh well

They weren't modded in, their shader was probably changed to highlight them to make it easier to pick them out.

I mean I could do it myself but I really would not want to deal with legendary and if I give myself invincibility using a save game editor, people will still see it as modded so. Also, I can't record tv footage (however I can upload the theater clip to my fileshare lmao)

AS the others mentioned 343 is from the character Guilty Spark, it was also the number of their old office building, which I think 343 works in now.
