I think the centrifugal force (right force? the rotational one, maybe centripetal) of the barrels spinning would negate any recoil effects of a handheld minigun anyway.

Miniguns are for laying down fire, what would you need one for out of combat, other than some expensive fun at the range? Much better to have a rifle.

Sorry this is an old camera phone picture, but this is a .22 and you crank it and hold down a trigger to shoot it, it's nuts. There are no magazines on it in the picture.
It's basically two guns back to back, it even has a trigger for each barrel, and when you crank that thing it wobbles this metal deal, causing it to hit each trigger alternatively.

Unfortunately, however, they're accurate only to 150m tops. Plus the people that die from 22LR wounds usually die a couple days after they've been in the hospital and stuff.

.22 rounds are very dangerous, in some cases moreso than even the biggest rounds out there. Why the fuck do you think police almost universally use 9mm or .45s? It's because they plug a hole in a body and STAY THERE. .22 bullets don't do that, they fuckin move around.
