well i remember when Obama promised he will get our troops out of the War and they are still there. Mainly cause if we sent Helicopters there they can get shot down and America will loose more troops. and Terrorists can pose as "American Soldiers (by putting their clothes on and disguise themselves unseen)" and attack America. also read this report on another reason why. Yes, They can. But noone wants to just leave without a real conclusion. Terrorists could never pose as american soldiers. That is just retarded. The military keeps track of their soldiers, and other soldiers tend to notice when theres suddenly a bunch of arabs in their unit.
