I had to do a peice infleunced by Nik Ainley, So I choose a peice of work that he did in 3D and adapted it to create a volcano. I would like to hear feedback and contructive critisism.
Here is another poster I created for this project.

The 3D-stuff doesn't really fit in with the fiery metal-stuff.
Text placement is not good, try some other positioning.
It lack substance... The feeling I got was "OHAI METALLICA CONCERT!", it should've oozed of "Oh cool Metallica. There's a really good line up of follow up artists too! Might be worth to check it out."
Location placement is also weird and makes no sense, give depth to your work.
Yeah, the bands I made up and the location was made up, they don't really matter. It's more on how I develope the idea.

You made up Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and Guns N Roses? You must be a millionaire.
Oh noes, I have revealed my true identity which is still unknown.
first, why are there neon green bits on a metallica poster, and second, why can i see the wireframe on some parts of the volcano? if that's exactly how you want it to look, that's cool, i gots no probs wit dat. but man, if it isn't, learn maybe a -tiny- bit more in the 3D program you used.
and, just saying, it would make it 50% better if you made the metallica logo shaded 3D, and left the other text to be flat.

Restart it.
Leave the letters flat add more interesting stuff then just some fire.
I added a new poster as I thought if I make two I can compare them in my coursework :D.
that one is a lot better. good work, man. sorry 'bout my last post, i just looked up Nik Ainley. it's close, but no cigar. the newer one is a lot better, though.
Wow, that new one looks really awesome. Great work.
a lot better try softer shadows get rid of the trees and change the material setting on these two columns

it's really, way better
I like the second one!
Need to work on your composition, colour theory and typography
It doesn't really work to my eyes, and it feels like you could do better trying to make your own 3D design than copying someone elses
The first and second are entirely my designs. The idea was inspired. But I did these my self.
