Seems like a cool perk.
Is this going to be their new series of fallout videos until the game's release?
After that last hit, the bat skips a few frames and appears slightly differently, yet the rest of the scene doesn't. That was weird

That outfit they picked for the short fits the perk perfectly

i can see it being really annoying having that icon appear on the screen every time a perk is used
I like how it takes a second for the civs at the end to go hostile. I wonder if they didn't and he had to pause the game and add in a console command. That's why the bat fades into a different possition but the civs dont.
Wait- they don't normally upload Fallout stuff on Tuesdays, and with the unique base perk count being 70, as well as it being only 13 days until release, could we expect a video like this every day up to release? Capturing any gameplay bit with the purpose of being a trailer can be tricky to look right at times. Would make sense to temporarily disable npc AI.

if you look closely though there is something like a direct fade-transition that happens
I think it might have something to do with a faction popup that is edited out. Like in New Vegas, when you kill a NCR member and it is spotted a popup informs you that your relationship with NCR is changed. I think they edited it out, which explains why only the bat moves a tiny wee bit. I don't think they want to show game-pausing popups in trailers. I mean the pc did kill a faction guard in front of 4 people
You referring to this? [t]http://i.imgur.com/V7QQNzp.png[/t] It's a loot table. You can loot without pausing the game now. Just put your cursor on a corpse and you can take stuff.
No, he's saying that they probably edited out an aditional pop-up that says "The Baseball Gang hates your guts" or something like that, so we wouldn't know about the system or the name of the faction.
You referring to this? [t]http://i.imgur.com/V7QQNzp.png[/t] It's a loot table. You can loot without pausing the game now. Just put your cursor on a corpse and you can take stuff. 'Transfer' presumably brings up a bigger, more complicated loot table that lets you do more stuff like reverse pickpocket and display more items than just the top most relevant few.
I was referring to this popup: [t]http://lpix.org/1401644/NVLP_3_184.jpg[/t] Since the final clip has obviously been edited, and the player did just kill a faction guard I assume something similar to this pop-up has been edited out.
all bethesda games ai is like that if you shoot someone, it takes ages for the ai to react and go hostile
Morrowind's AI had good reaction time IIRC, like the frame where you damaged an NPC everyone in the room goes aggro. It made fighting some quest NPCs pretty hard when everyone instantly beelines straight towards you. I know Daggerfall's AI isn't much different than their later games.
If the cheer happens when you bat someones head off this might be my new favorite perk
Well, shit. I guess Fallout 4 is going to be the first $60 game I've bought in a long time.
I wonder if some Bethesda devs are just doing these just for fun, without any further plan as to how many different perks they're going to show off before release? But I'm guessing we'll see perhaps one or two more.
Well, shit. I guess Fallout 4 is going to be the first $60 game I've bought in a long time.
You can grab it on GMG for 22% off for PC.
Gotta hand it to Bethesda, they sure know how to tease a game with these little bits and pieces.
Gotta hand it to Bethesda, they sure know how to tease a game with these little bits and pieces.
Just like their heads
The game's only two weeks away, I feel like it really snuck up on us.
Baseball is my favorite sport, so... HELL YES I'M USING THIS PERK!
The game's only two weeks away, I feel like it really snuck up on us.
So close, yet so far away...
I wonder if you hit someone with a baseball bat while using power armor if you can break your baseball bat.
i can see it being really annoying having that icon appear on the screen every time a perk is used
It's probably only when you knock their head off.
Is that last bit inside a ruined fenway park? edit yes http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Diamond_City
