No need for thread content, title sums it up. (User was banned for this post ("Fast thread" - JohnnyMo1))
Hells yes EDIT: now only if we had some numeric device that could quantify our smartness on these forums that would be a huge success!!!!11 /sarcasm
I'd consider myself a smart guy but not think at the same time that my peers are any less smart.
No :saddowns:
Being smart does not only mean you can spell correctly online. Lets throw a scenario in here, a history teachers father passes away and she takes the day off and the school is looking for someone to teach 7/8 classes on that day, would you be capable of explaining WWII to higher level 20/30ish students?
No fucking way. :colbert:
:ramsay:
I consider myself a "smart guy" but not above my fellow students.
Nah.
itt people who think they're smart are dickheads, contrary to people who are actually smart
I think this thread would be better at Fast Threads. Just my thought. And I dont consider myself very smart, I'm more likely a clever person.
OP is the opposite of the title, and yes, I find myself to be rather intelligent.
i can say i'm quite smart [editline]09:45PM[/editline] i can do many things that most people can't, including sucking my own dick
Of course not. But I'm certainly no idiot. But I feel my English punctuation and spelling is acceptable. [editline]19:49[/editline] But I am a fucking idiot since I dropped out in 10th Grade due to problems, and as such my academic intelligence is lacking. But I'm getting my life straightened out. I recently applied for a PC repairing course alongside both a English and Maths course.
Others say I am, I don't think I am. So the answer to the question No.

I guess I'm pretty smart. Smart enough to tell this should be in fast threads.

Isn't the IQ for opening a dorr like, 25 IQ?
Yeah, I consider myself a highly intelligent guy. I'm actually superior to everyone in my family and friends, compared to me they're lucky if they were my pets.
I think i'm pretty smart (best guy in my class, yay), but on the internet i'm always pointed out as that 12 year old who is dumber than a caravan site. It's maybe because my english isn't the best (not my first language) or that they're assholes (like my cousin who calls ppl over his age 3 year olds).
This also doesn't not define smartness, you can be smart and not be able to articulate your ideas to explain them to someone else.
I must be really smart then!

A rat can be trained to run a maze. It doesn't mean the animal is 'smart', it just demonstrates the creature's ability to learn.
I don't think I'm very smart. Not any more than anyone else. In fact, I like to think that we all have the same capacity for intelligence, some of us just try harder than others. All of my life I've been told that I'm "gifted" and all of that bullshit, and It's always pissed me off. I'm not special, other people are just fucking lazy. They don't work hard enough and they aren't motivated to learn. What's really bad is the expectations others have of me. Never in my life have I claimed to know everything. In fact, I've always been quite sure of the opposite; I don't know anything. However, others have come to expect me to have the answer to every question they ask, being too lazy to figure it out for themselves, and usually they get an answer which I believe to be correct. However, on the occasion that I get something wrong or don't know the answer to a question, all I ever hear is how I think I know everything and how I'm such a smartass and all of that shit. Fuck everyone, I never claimed to know shit, it's all of these fuckers who tell me I know everything and then get mad at me when I don't. And when my friends or family introduce me to people they introduce me as the guy who knows everything, like I'm fucking wikipedia or something. I don't think I'm smart, and I don't think other people are stupid. What I think is that I'm a normal, hard-working person surrounded by a bunch of lazy degenerates.
Hell yes compared to my classmates.
Surprising, 28 minutes into this and only one mention of IQ. Soon this will be the IQ pissing contest that it always turns into here.
