• Pictures from a rail overpass in NYC

If you have recently looked through the Map Pimpage thread in the mapping section, you may have seen my recreation of the Empire State Building. Living on Long Island and having nothing better to do, I decided to catch the next train to the city to study the Empire State Building, and see what I needed to change on the one I made. After I studied the building, I remembered seeing on the show Life After People, that there was an abandoned rail overpass on the west side. I decided to check it out. When I got there, what do you know, it was turned into a park. I grabbed my camera and decided to take a few pictures. I took about forty pictures of the city and the overpass, but I'll only be showing you the good ones. I'm new to photography, so I don't have the best camera in the world, so this is what I have. Quite generic sadly, the unfocused chair could be used as a business banner as along as text was in the foreground. I quite like the "space available" photo though, so heres a pallet.
Many are over exposed and out of focus
those benches in the second pic look badass
Over exposed, out of focus. Some of the shots have so many things going on in them it is very distracting.
Too many overexposed shots, and they all look like snapshots of New York.
I live in Long Island too. There aren't many facepunchers that live on long island.
Those guys look hot.
I found a lot of your building shots quite interesting as well as others. Though you could use a camera with more control, I give you an A for effort. Keep it up man!
Nice effort. Work on your composition
