KKK Sends Dozens of Hate Filled Messages to Residents of Fishers, Indiana.
Dozens of area neighborhoods woke up to a disturbing discovery in their front yards Sunday morning.
It was a message directed at their children but the source is infamous for its hateful message.
When Fishers homeowner Ross Olsby found a plastic bag filled with rocks and the page long message, it didn't take long for him to start gathering them from his neighbors yards, "Dozens of them, there are tons of them they put them all in little bags."
Inside the bags, a single page rant asking "What will you tell your children?"
The rambling message lashes out at illegal immigrants, homosexuality and minority groups for America's problems and at the bottom tells people to join the Ku Klux Klan.
has the kkk been reduced to a troll group in this day and age?

its not like anyone will take them seriously otherwise at this point
may as well use what dwindling relevancy they have to be cunts
You know they've reached the point of complete irrelevance when they're barely thought of in Indiana.

Even in the 90's they still had some semblance of power and organization there.
Im pretty sure I was born there

I thought KKK were specific to black hate? This sounds like they were gaybashing
[editline]25th July 2016[/editline]
I wonder if these were real members or pranksters, it doesn't make much sense, bags with rocks? To be a fly on the sidewalk when this shit happened...

Even historically, they targeted more than just blacks. The KKK also hated Catholics, immigrants, and pretty much anyone who wasn't part of the status quo.
They were basically against what they thought was the ideal white American, too. They would totally fuck with people who had certain political stances, or was perceived as a religious threat, and that covers a lot of bases.

The KKK have always hated anyone that wasn't a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant.
Can they at least post the letter that was in the bag..?

I live in Fishers and it sounds like pranksters to me. [del]Down south[/del] Up north you get a lot more racist dickheads but around here they're few and far between, i wouldn't rule it out but it doesn't seem likely

I live in Evansville and I haven't meet many of these "racist dickheads" but it might be worse in the more rural areas. Historically the KKK was a lot more active in the area around Indy than it was anywhere else.

How do you do fellow Hoosiers
Noblesville reporting in, if there's abundance of racism near me I haven't noticed it yet
There is such a thing as tape...
A bag of rocks... That's fantastic.
Wow, I didn't know so many Facepunchers lived this close to me..
This is surprising though, especially in such a well off place like Fishers.

There is a lot of KKK wannabes around here, but I have yet to see actual KKK activity here. They used to be pretty big in Columbus, might still be.

By now it's probably mostly died off, like I said it was just historically that the KKK was mostly active in the area. Though I'd suggest looking up the Saxon Knights gang. Basically the Aryan Nation that is less about making money and more about actually being white supremacists. They're mostly active in northern Indiana if I'm remembering correctly.
At this point in time the KKK is a pathetic shadow of what it used to be.

KKK actually accepts blacks now, iirc.
KKK actually accepts blacks now, iirc.
That's probably due to the fact that they have less than 10k members.

So it seems there are only two active (or at least offically recognized) KKK groups in Indiana according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, one in Muncie and the other in Kokomo.

Actually, nearly all the recognized hate groups in the state are based in the Northern half of the state.

Grew up near Kokomo. There's a town near there called Elwood where the Klan would hold meetings in the town hall. Other than that I've never seen or heard of Klansmen in Indiana doing anything remotely significant.

Elwood was the town I was thinking of, they have a pretty bad history of racism iirc. I thought it was south of indy but I guess i had that mixed up too lol
has the kkk been reduced to a troll group in this day and age?
reduced? were they noble and great before that?
reduced? where they noble and great before that?
In size, scale and methods, probably.
reduced? where they noble and great before that?
They were pretty large during the 20s. Indiana even elected a klansman govenor, though he ended up getting removed due to being charged with murder, rape, and kidnapping. According to wikipedia they had a good 6 million members in 1924 but fell down to 30k by 1930. Klansmen were also responsible for various murders and shit during the 50s and 60s.

That's a hilarious drop. Alright thanks for the small history lesson
So what happened that made them lose 6 million or so members in 6 years? Did everyone just say "nah I don't wanna do this anymore" and just went home?
There's a lot of old people in my town who are/were KKK members, they had a mission in my town decades ago (in Canada, weird right?) they haven't been seen marching in uniform since the 90's.
Also the KKK was touted as almost something like a social club so as soon as the infighting got too bad people just left because they weren't really all that loyal to their ideals. Hell, the original founders called it a gentlemen's club iirc.

Yeah I was born in Kokomo and my mom dealt with the Klan members here and there at the hospital where she worked as a speech therapist. Had one high ranking member in once and she make all his exercises about prominent civil rights figures.
We've got old school KKK activity here in Saint Louis, too. They were sending out death threats and leaving nooses on trees in Ferguson during all that shit a couple years ago. They're quiet for the most part, so you don't really realize that they're still active until you see shit like this in the news, but they're still hanging around. Our branch gathers in the robes and everything.
I work with an animal rescue that had gotten ahold of some animals from the the Grand Wizard of our branch (or whatever the leader calls himself?), and was actually supposed to be getting a kitten that they had dipped in bleach. Poor thing had to have its tail amputated and lost one of its eyes, and almost one of its legs, because the burns were so bad. Timing with our last batch of kittens didn't work out, though, so he went to another foster family.

Be interesting to see how bold they get if Trump wins the election, hm? I mean, think of Brexit - that was a minor victory for UKIP at best, and look what happened.
