It's ironic that he decided to get this one pre-built because he didn't trust himself to do the watercooling right, but that's the very thing that destroyed it. If he built it himself as he usually does, it probably would've been fine, not to mention much cheaper. At least he had a warranty for it.
hence why I never want to rely on water cooling.
does he have warrenty or not? It's a bit confusing as how busy he is in the videos.
And that's why water cooling is a shit idea and why submerging your computer in nonconductive liquids is a much better idea if you're going to build a rig with the power to burn a house down.

You don't have to submerge and still get the benefits. Submerging means you have to move all your mechanical HDDs out. Or get a full SSD build which would be very expensive.
3 years of saving, jezus christ imagine if he didn't have warranty.

My current computer was prebuilt and came with water cooling. Two years later the pump gave out. Had to replace it with a tiny CPU fan that still keeps the processor at a toasty 70c under load and I can't find anything better because nothing will fit. I also did some research after this happened and learned that companies specializing in selling put together gaming computers typically skimp on the cooling or get their own just to save a couple dollars per unit, and that cooling problems overall are a problem.
The good thing is it's Cyberpower and will replace that shit. Such a shame though. Even if he didn't get an extended Warranty, CPPC gives you a month to RMA anything for free, minus the shipping cost to them, and if you're going to spend $9000 on a PC, you damn well better get the extended I had my PC built by Cyberpower and I plan on using them again to be honest. It was cheaper than building it from NewEgg, and worked out of the box ever since with no issues This is why I'm afraid of liquid cooling. I never plan to Overclock anything so I don't ever see a need for having potential liquid death running through my rig

Mine was slightly more expensive than parts for Newegg but got the convenience of having everything put together and useable out of the box. The next computer I'll get will likely just be another one of theirs, but avoiding water cooling. The rest of the build quality is excellent.
The Truth: Prebuilt PC's are good as long as you are computer savvy and if they're not watercooled. This guy is retarded expecting nothing wrong to happen. "HURR DURR IT OVER 9K, IT NOT GUN BREK"

The last time I put one together it was just a mess of wires everywhere because I can't organize anything. Even if I sit down and actively try

Using a nonconductive coolant is also a good idea.
Why would you even use water in a computer? Mineral oil works just fine, and it doesn't make electrical components explode.
9000$ more like 800$
9000$ more like 800$
I wish you could have a triple sli like that for 800 bucks
9000$ more like 800$
out of curiosity i spec'd out his computer on the website and it came out to about £6000 which is 9-10 grand USD [editline]30th December 2012[/editline] according to google
Apart from the cooling, sweet rig. Although I don't like it being all flashy.
I wish you could have a triple sli like that for 800 bucks
I was curious as to why it was so expensive. Should have known it was the graphics cards.
Only way to watercool is to do it yourself to ensure shit is done right, don't rush it, do proper leak testing, don't skimp out and buy the cheapest shit available. Is this...the same guy that does Zero Punctuation? The voice is uncannily similar.

ahahahaha cyberpower wow, they're terrible [editline]30th December 2012[/editline] also this coming from another british person he has such a nasal and annoying voice
I wish you could have a triple sli like that for 800 bucks
And 2TB of SSD, That alone is about $1700
I have water cooling. Suddenly i don't feel as good anymore.
Actually, I'd prefer to have any watercooling setup in a prebuilt, so that it gets covered by warranty. I'd feel a lot worse if it broke after I installed it myself and had to take full responsibility.
ahahahaha cyberpower wow, they're terrible [editline]30th December 2012[/editline] also this coming from another british person he has such a nasal and annoying voice
A buddy of mine ordered a CyberPower maybe around six years ago. He said his audio didn't work and when we looked in it, the sound card he got wasn't even plugged in, just dangling around in there. The power supply also exploded a year later taking the motherboard and processor with it. Before that, I was actually impressed with them given the prices but no thank you I don't want a misassembled hand grenade as a computer.
