• Honda Civic Type R photoshoot

Hey FP I finally got out and photographed another car. This time the weather was crap, but the only problem I had with the rain, was my camera getting all wet and soaked when I hung it out the passenger window when we took the rolling shots. Brilliant photography. 10 and 11 are the only ones that don't stand out as being phenomenal.

I guess I'm missing something, but I really don't like any of them. The composition isn't amazing. 1 and 2, the movement in the background is far too busy. It looks like the car is moving backwards, not forwards. The grafitti is a distracting background, and I fail to see the purpose of it. The interior shots have too much pure white; it just looks like too much exposure. Shouldn't the inside of the car be shown more clearly? It's confusing from an angle. The rest of the pictures look generic.

I try and do my best when I'm out, and I like the pictures myself and so did the owner. Great lighting, angles could be better
Lighting, spot on but for my tastes try and make the car fill the frame a little more, its sort of out there in the distance, something not quite right, but never the less great and awesome work!

They tend to do that stuff where they don't focus completely on the car, and try to associate it with some imagery in the background. #3, 5 and 8 especially look like something you'd see at the end of an advertisement. I think it's nice, you just have to take it in all at once, is all.

It's just as much the location as it's the car.
Shiny and smooth as usual. Love them all.
This is some great photography. Photos are pretty crisp.

Maybe the camera was mounted on the car he was in? Either that or really still hands.
1/40th shutter speed would do it, I might have to try it now.
