God damn i wish they released that Goldeneye remake. I LOVED the Perfectdark remake, it was amazinggggggg
Great video though.
I didn't think the framerate was that crap

yea it seems off to me too the frame rate isnt great but im pretty sure it hardly goes below 15 on my N64
hmm, not that I distrust DF but I never remembered the games running that slowly.

nostalgia is a strong thing, I don't remember Jet Force Gemini being as awkward to control as it was but it was a damn pain in the ass and its performance tanked a lot too

It's strange but me and my cousin played the XBLA Perfect Dark for a loooong time, and then we decided it would be neat to see how the original looked. It was terrible! Super sluggish and I swear it looked really outdated and bad. But then we got used to it again and it was fine. We played the N64 games for probably hundreds of hours and didn't really see the changes until we went back to it after playing the XBLA version.
The best way to play perfect dark/goldeneye for me is on pc with an emulator with mouse support and 60fps
Perfect Dark is one of my favorite games ever. I really wish I could play it again.

lmao
It's so weird how back then I never noticed the frame rate being so low, UNTIL my friend got a dreamcast that ran games at 60 fps.

we were all naive and didn't know. Games didn't require precise controls either but now most shooters require precision so playing at a low frame rate is close to impossible
