Four days late, didn't see it posted here though so I thought you guys might want to see it if you haven't already.

It was posted in the WarZ thread.
On topic though, starting get some hype for this game.
It's looking pretty damn solid so far.
Late, but I fucking love that radio effect

Ah really? I didn't see it there. Oh well, I always shit bricks whenever I post threads on FP.
Actually looks really nice.
Ehhhh, I know it isn't trying to be like Dayz in anything other than concept, but I wish it was more like Dayz in some apsects. I'd love to see some of the realism aspects of the Arma engine lifted into this. Little things like leaning and deadzone aiming.
Understandably it's alpha gameplay, and again, they aren't trying to be a carbon copy of Dayz. Perhaps this just won't be my game. I'm looking forward to the standalone Dayz more though.

Although that inventory UI is looking ace.
Would be a better idea to do a properly edited showcase video giving you a rundown of features.
So is it like permadeath but your characters levels and skills stay intact or something?
Feels like a cross between dayz and dead island, looks pretty interesting. Hopefully I'll get to try it when it goes into beta.

There's going to be two difficulties, hardcore mode with perma-death and normal where if you die you get locked out of your character for a time period.
Official gameplay, checks out the zombies boobs.
I like how he's like "I have tons of ammo, don't worry". The unloads the majority of his magazine on one zombie without any rhyme or reason.
It's like dayz. But only better. And not wonky as shit. And not a mod.

I love it.
Fuck DayZ.
I play this!
movement feels way to arcadey. can't wait for people noscoping and strafing.
Well, it does look a lot smoother than DayZ. Hope they'll touch up some of the animations though.
Hopefully I'll get more than 20 fps with this game as opposed to DayZ
DayZ was neat but the zombies just didn't work out that well. On top of ARMA's already horrible enemy AI, it was more of an annoyance than a thrill/enjoyment firing at a zombie that's running all wonky, diagonal, and sometimes running in circles. I prefer ARMA for military missions like I've been playing in the series for years.
This on the other hand looks pretty good so far, and the radio effect sounds awesome.

Doesn't seem smooth, a lot like the Arma version, where you tap a direction and it stutters/jumps instead of being fluid.
Or maybe it's just whoever's playing, would have to play it myself.
This and DayZ made me realize how much I want Co-Op in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
My first thoughts when the video started were "Turn that light off, dickhead" I hope the Devs have started working on slowing down the pace of the game, or at least forcing the player to be more careful. The guy playing just seemed to go gung-ho on those zombies like they were the only ones in the whole area.
and normal where if you die you get locked out of your character for a time period.
How long will this time period last? I really don't like sound of being locked out of my character because of death.

How the fuck do you media tag?

The developers said that it was going to either be 24 or 48 hours real time, but they haven't decided on which yet.

Also, I'm so hyped for this game.
Awesome
I don't like that the items are highlighted.

And there's hit markers to tell you if you hit them or not.

I'll just stick with Hardcore mode then.
I'm surprised no fanboy has come in yet and complained about it being a ripoff of dayz.
