This is one of those things that gets posted every four months or so and gets a good run and then is forgotten again. It can be extremely hilarious.
The premise: It's named after and based on the "broken telephone" game, although I've always heard of it as Chinese whispers. I'm sure you know how that goes - someone whispers something to another person, then they whisper it to the next, and by the time it reaches the end of the line it is distorted into something completely different.
In Broken Picture Telephone, someone writes something, then the next person draws it, then the next writes, and so on. Thanks to crude drawings and bad description, by the end it is almost always something entirely different.
The way you play is by logging in and clicking "join a game". You will either have to draw or write (you can select to only draw or only write in Account Settings) what the last person gave you. After you're done, you move on to another game. Once a game you were playing finishes up (reaches a certain number of turns) you get to see the whole thing from start to finish. This is where the lolling happens as you see that the cat you drew was originally John McCain's left testicle.

A game was just completed but then the site exploded into slowness, presumably from 1000s of broke pictureless games completing at once or something.
