Well it seems everytime I get drunk or really buzzed my liver hurts the next day. Like today for example. Last night I had a little bottle of Canadian whiskey like i always do (drinking beer just gets me full, not drunk) and this morning it feels like I've been stabbed where I believe my liver is - on the right side, kind of on the bottom of your ribcage right? This has only happened twice before.
I'm done drinking :P
Doctor.
Happens on all my hangovers.
Or maybe it's just my stomach.

help him then
Seriously go to a doctor
this used to happen to me when i had liver cancer.
Doctor Facepunch says Drinking has no adverse affects on the liver whatsoever.
If you would like a CAT scan you can call my secretary later.
Or call a Real Doctor you know... If your worried.
Do you really think a bunch of 14-17 year old nerds are going to help you with your liver cancer? Go to a real doctor.
Don't worry man, you're just going to have liver failure soon. Suck it up and take it like a man. Send more alcohol down to fight it. Kill that liver failure bastards and kick them out of your body. It's your body, and pain should not be in it. Fight for your freedom, not for theirs. Destroy the invaders.
Just drink more. You'll be okay
You know why? because the alcohol will dissolve your liver and you won't have to feel pain or worry anymore!
Doctor, seriously, this could be cancer, get off facepunch right now and go to a doctor.
Happens on all my hangovers.
Does it really?
Going to a doctor is bad news bears. Then my parents will find out, which is a small price to pay for my liver being saved. But if I'm fine and this is normal then I'd rather not go until my next checkup or whatever.
Only pussy livers quit.
Your liver isn't a pussy quitter, is it?
How about stopping the alcohol? The liver can regenerate, but full regeneration takes about 7 years.
Other problems caused by heavy drinking are pancreatitis, which is very painful, ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, and a host of other problems.
haha you have cancer
Just sit down and have a drink, it will make your problems go away.
You need a new Liver. Steal a relatives, the closer the better.
I'm pretty sure your liver cannot feel pain, and this is probably more a case of inflammation of the intestinal lining, as alcohol is an irritiant to the digestive system.
EDIT: However, pain in your lower right abdomen might be a possible sign of appendicitis.

It would make sense if his liver hurt, though. The reason you get drunk is because there are too many toxins for your liver to hold, letting alcohol loose in you body and affect your brain. :eng101:

But you are one.
:cawg:
OP is dying.
Ok guys, serious question. My liver hurts after drinking, what should I do?
I'll quote the advert at the bottom of this thread:

I drink almost daily and don't get this problem, you should probably go to a doctor.
Couldn't it just be gas?
Drink 'til the pain goes away
Well no shit.
2 things you should do:
STOP FUCKING DRINKING
and
GO TO A FUCKING DOCTOR
Just drink more. The alcohol should kill the cancer.
