Stephen is a fucking champ
Sean seemed nervous!
Sean seemed nervous!
I'd be borderline shitting myself too if I got interviewed by Colbert.
So happy for Sean
Even without the Hot One's "Last Dab" sauce and most in between, I'd imagine this is probably a more painful experience than a normal episode of Hot Ones due to how short of a time there were in between questions. Was this at the end of the show, or did Stephen have to go the rest of the episode recovering from the sauce?
Would love if this lead to a proper episode of Hot Ones with Stephen; the first few guests for the latest season have been kind of weak in my opinion.
I'm skeptical. I wouldn't say I don't believe it but the ending was off so I watched it twice. I'm skeptical the wings were actually spicy. Hear me out. Stephen's performance was fantastic, fake or not. My thing is just after seeing so many Hot Ones I feel like he'd be... leakier? Like every tissue wipe, cough, or mumble, sound and look hollow. Like how you can cough but you can't actually make it sound like stuff comes up. It sounds like he's fake blowing his nose with nothing. He doesn't turn red or sweaty. And the one I noticed on the first take: He seems 100% fine by the next segment. Which made me question, "Would a TV show ever actually risk that? Having their spokesman fuck his throat up for a bit in the middle of the show?" Just a thought. Not attacking the segment, hell like I said I'm not even certain. It's just an interesting thought experiment, to see if you can tell if something on TV was faked or not.

I've been to multiple late night show tapings and from what I've pieced together, they film a set amount of segments per day for a couple different episodes, this is usually down to when they can schedule a given actor. Often times the guest that appears for a taping won't even have their episode air for a few days, in which they'll then just match the host's tie and suit to the day they filmed the interview so his outfit will be consistent from opening monologue to interviews, then at the taping for that day they'll have a different guest for another day's episode.
What a lame question to ask. He could've stumped him with the ultimate question like do you think the pope fucks kids or why is the Bible so blatantly wrong. (User was banned for this post ("Shitpost" - Mezzokoko))

I hope Stephen returns the gesture and comes on Hot Ones, I'd love to see this more fleshed out

ive had mega death sauce before. it makes you feel alive. thats not an exaggeration.
