I now understand why I run around with my younger brother yelling "DERP DERP DERP DERP HERP DERP!" at the age of 18. My younger brother doesn't remember it, he wasn't old enough to to remember. Every time I watched the show Pete & Pete, I waited for Artie, if he didn't show up in an episode..I always felt ripped off. To make the best metaphor, Artie is to Pete & Pete as Gir is to Invader Zim...for me.
