I have a problem, and I really don't know what to do.
So, my girlfriend used to date this psycho. And now he legitimately STALKS her Tumblr. He also has all of his peon friends sent really cruel hate messages and the like to her on a daily basis. We really don't know how to end this. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks all.

You can change tumblr settings to private.
Send an email to [email]support@tumblr.com[/email] with screenshots, your blog, the usernames of the other blogs and any other info
call the cops

Don't reply to messages, make the tumblr private, call the cops, contact the tumblr staff.
Alternatively, she could privately message her followers to follow her new, private account and simply abandon her old one. It's a good way to throw off all of the weirdos.

Also she can set her messages so that anon is automatically off, and she can block any accounts that are non-anon from messaging her.

We were contemplating calling the police, but as they're mostly anonymous, all we can get is their IP and general area. Though I suppose the police can look people up via IP.
seems like a complete waste of police resources unless they show that theyre going to act on these hate messages
get a new tumblr and send pics to tumblr support, dont get the cops involved unless its a threat to your safety tbh
I wouldn't really consider cyber harassment a waste of police resources, unless the messages are just "lol u suck" over and over.
Verbal bullying is still bullying, even if no one's mailbox is going to explode.
