SO Can't wait to wake up to weather alerts. (User was banned for this post ("image macro/dumb snipe/post history" - OvB))
I guess its time to plug in the weather radio again.

At the top of a hill there aren't many natural disasters that I have to worry about but tornadoes are definitely one of them. I'd be able to get my family and animals to safety, but most of my belongings are irreplaceable heirlooms and historic antiques that would be gone forever. I really need to invest in a heavy safe.

Do they ever catch a break?
It came straight at my university and rekt the cars with hail.
Moore had that really bad one just two years ago. Do they ever catch a break?
This latest one looked a lot like an EF1 from the chopper shots, so hopefully it isn't too terribly bad and the NWS survey only finds damage that would be from an EF1. But yeah, they haven't caught a break since the big '99 one.
Damn, I'm afraid to go check my car. We have no covered parking at our university... It's still coming down pretty bad but the tornado part of it has passed us.
Tornado warnings were called off for now. Still fucking huge hail in some places. Possible floods, too. Good luck everyone.
Moore had that really bad one just two years ago. Do they ever catch a break?
Well hopefully the amount of tornado shelters has gone up quite a bit with the rebuild.
I live there. Just got back from driving up near it all to check on my apartment/cat before going back to work. It's died down, no constant tornado sirens now.
Welp, goodbye cold as fuck winter. Hello Tornado Season.
it was pretty spooky out there, rain coming down like crazy with the high wind crashing it against houses like waves, heard the tornado was just a mile or so away from me
Well shit, is it already that time of year?
Well shit, is it already that time of year?
It's the most (cough least for the south US) wonderful time ooooof the year!

The thin glass backdoor of my house was shaking yesterday, and a tornado didn't even come through our neighborhood. It was just that windy.
Damn judging from the above posts I didn't know this many people were Okies on FP. We just got a lot of rain and the sky turned sickly green.
well no shit tornadoes are dangerous didn't need to tell anyone that twice.
well no shit tornadoes are dangerous didn't need to tell anyone that twice.
A lot of people under estimate the power of it. People think just because their not in the direct path that their safe Tornados can change directions and the debris they pick up are just as deadly. A lot of people fail to seek shelter generally speaking.

The tornado came within two miles of my cousin's apartment, thankfully he's okay.
Jesus, MR-X's first video makes the city look like a battlefield.
