Just curious of how clean your cars are, or how sorted your stuff is and what you carry with you everywhere you drive. This is mine: [t]http://i.imgur.com/1HtzW.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/N2ERq.jpg[/t] I'm missing one of the lift supports so it doesn't hold itself up :v: In that plastic box is just stuff like coolant, a bottle of water, the warning triangle, a small car jack, a... thing that sucks in moisture to prevent any rot. Etc etc I need to clean the floor...
All I get in my boot is water because the damn thing has a leak somewhere
My roof was leaking water badly but I cleaned the shit out of it, removed the whole roof rack and cleaned that too, then put it back on with bigger screws and a sealing paste under. No leaks anymore :v:
The only stray things I have in the back of my wagon are an umbrella and a brush/wedge combo for getting ice off my windows in the winter. I keep a towel up front on the passenger seat, too, but that's it. I really want to get some basic tools and throw them in the spare tire compartment in case shit happens. Also need to get a jumper cable.
Got a tiny truck, behind my seat I have my jack and tire iron, in my toolbox I have a bunch of random shit that I need to clean out. I think I have my jumper cables, a towel, a ton of bungee cords, a music book, and a screwdriver to remove the toolbox when I need to put big stuff in the bed.
nothing except the spare tire and tools
Spare tire, toolkit, foldable chair, and a PVC pipe used for holding up the trunk lid.
It's more exciting when there are pictures

Lotsa junk in da trunk
I said I'd contribute if you made it, so here it is. Not much room eh? Under the panel at the very back of the car, with the vents in it, is where the spare and jack and whatnot is tucked away. Gotta work with what you're given, i guess. Still working on trying to get speakers to fit into the stock mounts, but for now i just have that central one wired in to it.
This thread's title was cruelly misleading. Sauce get.
[img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5698103/mustang/P1300787.JPG[/img_thumb]
yeah mine's the same, so I don't think another picture would be necessary

Hmm, a 100Ah battery that's hooked to the car's powergrid, a small 2 stroke generator, 2 blankets and a pillow :quagmire: , sleepingbag, full set of tools and utilities, water cooker, instant coffee powder, small water supply, 20 Liter Can of Gasoline as extension for my ridiculously small tank, 5 Liter backup can of gasoline, gascooker, some food cans. That's about it. Did i mention that i go camping in my car? :v:
emergency cloth to work on the car emergency tool kit emergency oil/coolant/power steering fluid spare 3/8 heater tubing (2 feet) spare tire and oem emergency jack I am ready for road hazards
Currently... nothing apart from hauling shit. I'm getting a metal lockbox shortly though, I just need to find the tools to bolt it in. There's hardly any room behind the bench, I occasionally stick stuff like swim shorts and a towel behind there, also got an 8" sub back there.
My trunk? Not much. Spare tire, some extra door seals, "electronics broken what do" kit, and a hacky-sack. My back seat? Jesus. Motorcycle seats, riding boots, random chunks of metal and chrome I'm re-purposing, a change of clothes, a snazzy polka-dot button up shirt, random roleplaying books, a flask full of grog, and a thermos or two.
Well, I don't have a trunk because I drive a truck. But there are things behind my seats.
Water every time it rains, and a spare tire.
I must be the only one with some real junk in my trunk: - Tire - Tire Iron - Rain Coat - Jumper Cables - Qt. Oil - Qt. Transmission Fluid - Qt. Brake Fluid - Gloves - Spare Tools - Rock Salt :v: (Need more weight on the drive wheels in winter) - Spare Shoes
I wish this topic was started a few months back, I could have pretty much said I had a MR engine ~1.6l D16Z6 block ~D16Z6 head ~D15B7 A000 DX tranny ~D16Z6 dizzy ~PM9 ECU ~intercooler piping ~DSM Big 16G ~Turbo oil lines ~DSM 1G BOV ~Styrafoam peanuts (???????) ~Blanket ~Clothes When your house burns down and then you get a bunch of car parts, life sucks. :C Now it's.... A bunch of empty cardboard boxes and some clothes from me changing into work clothes. [editline]16th October 2011[/editline] Oh and some random DC Sport header for a D series.
my tuck has nothing in the bed, some tools , jumper cables, rags and stuff behind the seat. the wk2 has some plastic, a piece of cardboard and a set of high heels.
Toolbox, 5th wheel, scotches and some bungee chord.
[img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5601782/IMG_20111016_235610.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5601782/IMG_20111016_234821.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5601782/IMG_20111016_234830.jpg[/img_thumb] I try to keep my trunk pretty clean, it's definitely an Integra trunk though. :v: I always keep a tow strap with me since it seems that my friends always need to be towed and the last time we broke all the cheap ratchet straps that I used to use for my sub box. I also keep a power inverter since for some reason people think that they can plug in their shitty phone chargers into my car for some reason. The funnel is also useful because then you don't spill the last of the oil that you needed when you're on a trip all over the valve cover because you let your buddy do it..
Damn, what trips are you going on? I've never had to change the oil on any of my road trips, it's always a day or two before.
Damn, what trips are you going on? I've never had to change the oil on any of my road trips, it's always a day or two before.
My car burns about a quart every 1000 miles depending on how I drive it. We went on a trip and I was like a 1/6 quart low so I just said fuck it and threw the half a quart I had in the trunk and we left. We got to the destination which was like 700 miles away and I was a little under a half so I told my friend to grab the oil and dump it in since I was gonna run inside the store real quick. I turned around and he fucking dumped like half of it on the valve cover.. Sure, I've also accidentally done it myself a few times but only in my own garage. Having one with you comes in handy.
Toolbox, 5th wheel, scotches and some bungee chord.
That toolbox is sexy, I have one that goes behind the cab and it has been so helpful in keeping my truck clean and organized.
That toolbox is sexy, I have one that goes behind the cab and it has been so helpful in keeping my truck clean and organized.
Yeah, I like those also, but I got the fender tool boxes to save a little bed space with the 5th wheel in.
Yeah, I like those also, but I got the fender tool boxes to save a little bed space with the 5th wheel in.
I guess that works better for a wider truck bed. Doesnt your truck have a winch on the bottom to hold the wheel under it? I wouldnt know where to put a spare otherwise
