Well, for the moment, I don't see China covered with terrorists who kill the innocent nonstop over their stupid religious beliefs. Oh, and that while China is fairly stable, these countries are killing themselves and are developing nuclear weapons. Yeah, I think our presence is justified.
Look, I'm pretty far right. I'm pretty far from anti-war. I'm not the most educated person in the world, nor am I of any age where I could feign it.
Yet even from my view point, it's really fucking easy to see that not all of the Middle East is 'covered' in terrorists who are constantly doing horrible things to people. Do they exist? Hell yeah. Do they litter the land: literally hiding in every house, around every corner and in every dumpster? You kidding me?
This whole 'war on terror' is a lost cause from here out; and I was one of the people who was on it's boat when it started. It's a waste of time, resources, lives and looks. The issue is more complex than 'send in troops, occupy and fix stuff'.
Isn't it unusual for a republican to say something like this?

There's a reason why it is as it is. If the US never took up the world police title, never even bothered with vietnam and never tried to find a new war to wage, there would hardly be any terrorists even wanting to do anything to the US.
That's China. They never cared about any country outside their own, they never invaded a country for it's oil and they didn't feel the need to police other nations.
